Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years supervisory experience in bank operations or lending; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manages a portfolio of deposit clients for a designated region within a banking division. Maintains ongoing visibility with client base. Work with credit team and business development team in establishing an aggressive calling program targeting Controllers, Property Managers, and 1031 Exchange segments for new business growth of all existing relationships. Responsible for carrying out targeted deposit generating strategies. Works with clients to resolve account or service related problems, and with Banking Services to ensure timely and accurate implementation of all new business. Develops and maintains referral relationships to promote new business development. Actively seeks all types of loans for purposes of referral to appropriate group levels. Prepares credit authorizations and recommends ACH limits for deposit only clients. Works with Cash Management specialist to provide competitive and complete banking services to Business Banking and Commercial Clients. Cross sells other Bank products and services as appropriate. Participates in community activities and civic organizations to generate new business. Supports Bank’s community and CRA lending initiatives. Performs related duties as required.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of job related laws and regulations. Responsible for keeping compliance knowledge current by attending compliance related training seminars and/or staff meetings (or reviewing minutes when not in attendance for actual meetings) and by reading pertinent compliance related materials. Job related laws and regulations include, but are not limited to, the following: Truth in Lending (Regulation Z); Equal Credit Opportunity (Regulation B); Fair Housing Act; Fair Credit Reporting Act; Fair Debt Collection Practices Act; Loans Secured by Margin Stock (Regulation U); Credit Practices Rules (Regulation AA); Community Reinvestment Act; Real Estate Appraisal Regulations; Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (Regulation X); Regulation O; Bank Bribery Act; Emergency Preparedness; and Financial Privacy Laws.

Summary:

Work independently or in tandem with all credit officer to develop new and additional deposits, cash management and bank services revenue. Responsible for achieving target deposit totals and loan referral goals by performing the following duties.
