Primary Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

• Information security and protection of company data is critical and fundamental to this position. Solutions must comply with Banking laws and regulations. Participate in audits and regulatory exams, plan and write audit responses and remediation, and deliver those remediations with the team and IT department.
• Manage Infrastructure team within Information Technology department with system and network administrators.
• Manage outside vendors and service providers, manage all renewals, quotes and contracts, and system resellers.
• Hire and manage contractors, as necessary.
• Manage and report on department budget.
• Plan and deliver long-term vision and strategy for bank infrastructure.
• Evening and weekend work and on-call availability are required regularly and frequently to “keep the Bank running” at all times.
• Process improvement, including teaching and documentation, to minimize system disruptions. Troubleshooting and fixing those that arise.
• Manage replacements of current technologies, as well as review, selection, and deployment of new technologies.
• Project management for various Bank technology initiatives.
• Work with CIO and all other Information Technology department-head colleagues as part of a collaborative IT senior staff.

Summary:

Responsible for managing the Infrastructure team of system and network administrators to maintain continuous highly secure Bank operations, fix what’s broken, minimize disruptions, secure email and data, and plan and deliver projects for new and replacement technologies. This person will manage the Infrastructure team, and Information Security operations as directed by the Chief Information Security Officer are another critical part of this role.

Must be an experienced people manager and vendor manager with broad experience with Windows server-based networks and systems. Maintain systems, applications, network, security, remote access, disaster recovery plans and technologies, email systems, storage, Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure, system management utilities, outside security vendors, Internet, web hosting, domain services, and data center providers, change management, and other processes. Architectural planning, consultation, evaluation, and advisory for all changes and new systems. Monthly metrics and reporting and strong communications with staff at all levels around the bank are critical to this role.
